Event Description

You are warmly invited to the 7th Generation Community Evening for the month of October.

This month we have two very special occasions to celebrate (and we want to seize every opportunity we can to CELEBRATE). One is the turning of the seasons - Autumn - and two is the turning of an age - Zand Craig is turning 25! Lets show our love and thanks for the abundant gifts of harvest and for the joyous quarter century of life which has grown a remarkable young man, leader, and friend. And lets do it by throwing one great big party TOGETHER!

To keep in the spirit of the season, the theme for the party is Autumn. So come cozy up with a cup of hot cider, be silly and bob for apples, and get creative by carving a pumpkin! Watch the colourful leaves fall outside and spend an evening in the company of friends, old and new.

Along with the usual Stone Soup meal, catch up time, give away table and events wall there will be music, games and fun times galore!

**** BYOP if you want to carve a pumpkin. We will also need some people to bring spare carving knives, a plastic tarp, and a basin for the apples. If you can offer any of these items, please email me to confirm. AND, if anyone owns Twister or has any other good party games, please bring them!

There will be a £3 suggested donation cover charge to help cover the cost of room hire

Evening Line up:
6:00pm Doors Open!
6:30 - 8:00pm Food, Catch Up & Birthday cake! (This is StoneSoup style, so bring a dish to share!)
8:30 - 10:30pm Music and much much more! This as always will be what we make it.

** Note ** Give Away Table
We hope you will support this idea by bringing something with you to give away. And then from what is collected on our Give Away Table, you are also free to take away an item of your choice!

All are welcome, whether old hats or new faces. Pass on the invitation. Bring a friend. Musical instruments, burning conversation topics, and new ideas are encouraged!

I'll always remember our week in the mountains of BC - you were a great hiking mate and add so much to our little community. Really glad you were there.

Wish I could join the celebration in your honour, but it would be a problem getting back to my office the following morning.

I hope there will be an opportunity to see you in person again before long.
