7th Generation Community Evening

You are warmly invited to the 7th Generation Community Evening for the month of September.

This month we are back at Blick Studios for the usual Stone Soup meal, catch up time, give away table and events wall...but with a few extra ingredients thrown into the mix.

Come promptly at 6:00pm for Cookery Class and learn from in house chefs Jo and Rachel how to make a delicious autumnal spinach soup, then eat it! (Who remembers Jo's blueberry tart from a few months back?! yum)

As September is usually an insanely busy month for people we have decided to combine our Commuity Eve with the re-launch of our Protest Cafe. This means after food and general merriment we will have a chance to transform Blick into a regular Citizen's Cafe -- drink coffee, tea, and get to writing our Ministers, local businesses etc. in either appeal or protest for the issues we most care about. If you can't think of anything, don't worry, there will be plenty of ideas to engage in; petitions to sign, pledges to make, letters to write!

There will be a £3 suggested donation cover charge to help cover the cost of room hire.

Evening Line up:
6:00pm Doors Open & Cookery Class- Learn how to make a delicious autumnal spinach soup
6:30 - 8:00pm Food, Catch Up! (This is StoneSoup style, so bring a dish to share!)
8:30 - 10:30pm Protest Cafe and Flash Mob video viewing!

We hope you will support this idea by bringing something with you to give away. And then from what is collected on our Give Away Table, you are also free to take away an item of your choice!

All are welcome, whether old hats or new faces. Pass on the invitation. Musical instruments, burning conversation topics, or new ideas are encouraged!
